A foal has to drink colostrum. If he doesn't, he becomes weak and does not receive any antibodies. Nursing is not yet successful. I have to help Teije Rein. uniek' s though i hope uniek can get to foster again, like she did with rising star. Separation anxiety can cause mares to try and steal other foals.
edit: sorry if i may have sounded vulgar, i know that you guys have a goodwill towards the horses but this is not the way to cope with uniek' s miscarriage, i' m still heartbroken to but every other mare should also have their own moments, that' s how nature works. ...Expand 56
