How To Replace The Cooling Flange On A BMW N20, N52, N54, N26, & N55 Engine (X3, X5, 328i & More)

►The BMW BMW N52, N54, N55, N20, and N26 engines all have a common failure point—the cooling flange. Also known as the 'Mickey Mouse flange', it's located at the front of the engine next to the oil filter housing. It's extremely common that this corrodes and eventually gives way, causing a coolant leak that can potentially leave you stranded on the side of the road (like Andrew in this case). In this video, Andrew takes you through the steps needed to replace the cooling flange and get your car back up and running. From removing the old flange to installing the new one and bleeding the air out of the system, the entire process is covered.
