@WildernessMusic_GentleSerene5 years agoFantastic mixer/recorder! I have been using a ZoomR24 for 5 years now, it has replaced my computer for recording tracks (not editing) and I use the R24 exclusively (without computer) for recording all my synth jams. My synth jams go straight from Zoom to video editing without a computer. Rock solid recording dependability without computer problems, updates, viruses, crashes. ...14

@farwestgarohills38313 years agoI like Zoom products for its quality SD card recorder. Virtually, there is no loss recorder. Unlike some other brand's recorder, Zoom recorders record crystal clear at the same volume; the volume you hear in monitor, the same volume you hear from recorded track. Excellent: A grade in this aspect. My other mixers lying down; my lying down unopened. All recording I do now in Zoom Recorder. ...

@demetriusstump86544 years agoAfter scrolling through the comments and reading all the complaints, I've come to this conclusion... This mixer/multitrack recorder is aimed for those that are on a budget and are willing to sacrifice a few luxury options. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that. Some people have to have a budget-friendly starting point in the music world where they aren't breaking their wallet/bank account to get some recording accomplished. ...1

@EuphratTigris5 years agoI've owned the L-20 for a few weeks now, currently using it only for live mixing in my rehearsal studio. Problem is, I'm still struggling with the effect section which just doesn't seem to work properly. EFX1 and EFX2 has been activated for each of the three channels which are being used for vocal microphones (and the lights show that actually everything should be working), but I can only hear the selected effects on one of the three microphone channels, i.e. everything is fine with mic 1, but mic 2 and 3 sound dry as if there were no effect at all, even though my EFX1/EFX2 settings for mic 2 and 3 are identical to the ones for mic 1. Does anybody have an idea what this is all about? ...

@Pharesm5 years agoIts a bit skimpy! At the price, you're short from a sale by lack of motor faders and a full 20 track USB output to the computer. Everybody else can do it, why not Zoom? For the same money, you can buy a SoundLive 24R III 32 track, if their full console is too heavy and big. The Zoom's advantage over other consoles is the slim size and lower weight. But can't have motor faders and 20x20 USB output missing, because then you have to buy that separately and instantly loose the Zoom's space savings, and cost with the extra stuff goes beyond the Zoom's marginal savings. Super marginal if you count in Behringer's X32... Just my 2 cents... ...1
