@zarisundiata77443 years agoIm anand believe me, these companies dont often have a choice of whether they should stay independent (i. E. Not under a publicly tra parent company) monopoly capital is in every industry, thats the wave of the capitalist economy all around. Ive audited companies who did not want to sell but either a venture capital firm or a big, publicly traded conglomerate wins in the end. So its rarely, if ever, a choice for these brands. of course its a lot of money in cosmetics, a lot of that is socially engineered. I mean, i love makeup, of course, thats why i watch these videos, but if you look closely at media and especially since the advent of social (read = anti social) media, there is a lot of stimuli telling people they arent good enough every second of the day! Heck they did that in the past, but i grew up in the 80s and i remember when the networks used to completely turn the tv off, now there is minimal respite to cultivate our own thoughts and get a break from all the your not good enough propaganda!. ...Expand30
