➤ Purchase sheet music: https://payhip.com/b/Hy2xZ This piece was specially written to celebrate Bloomsday 2021. It is a musical parody of the Oxen of the Sun chapter in James Joyce's Ulysses. In that magisterial chapter Joyce sets out to send up almost the entire history of English literature. In my composition I attempt a similar task but with music — and on a much more modest scale. See how many musical styles or direct musical quotations you can recognise! I hope to make a video soon discussing how I turned Joyce's chapter into music. ➤ Support me and gain rewards on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/gregharradine (Rewards include sheet music, recordings, exclusive videos, chances to vote on aspects of my future compositions, and more.) ➤ Join my mailing list: https://bit.ly/2wo05UQ ➤ Listen on your favourite streaming service: https://ffm.bio/gregharradine ➤ Visit my website: https://www.gregharradine.com Socials: ➤ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GregHarradineComposer ➤ Twitter: https://twitter.com/GregHarradine ➤ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gregharradine
