Buy MacBook Pro 14 - https://amzn.to/2ZwhgWt I compared the MacBook Pro 14 inch 8-core and 10-core M1 Pro models vs the MacBook Air M1 using Ableton Live, my favorite DAW. How do they stack up for music production? CPU performance tests and export speed comparisons yielded some interesting results! Should you get 8 core or 10 core MacBook Pro or stick with the MacBook Air M1? The setups: MacBook Air M1 (LEFT) 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD MacBook Pro M1 Pro base model (MIDDLE) 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD MacBook Pro M1 Pro (RIGHT) 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD All machines are running Ableton Live 11.0.11 (regular, non-M1 optimized version). I tried beta 11.1 and performance was buggy and not really too different from the non-beta version. The beta also disabled a bunch of my plugins :( Shot on iPhone 13 Pro & edited in Final Cut Pro on MacBook Pro 14 10-core MY CAMERA GEAR ➜ https://benaqua.org/amazon MY MUSIC ➜ http://fanlink.to/b3naqua MERCH ➜ http://benaqua.shop INSTAGRAM ➜ http://instagram.com/b3naqua TWITTER ➜ http://twitter.com/b3naqua DISCORD ➜ https://tiny.cc/b3ncord 0:00 so many cores, so little time 0:34 the song 1:06 CPU performance 2:40 export speed test 4:07 which M1 should you get? 6:18 8 or 10 core? #macbookpro14 #macbookpro2021 #abletonlive #macbookpro #macbookair #apple #MacBook #Mac #m1 #m1pro #BenAqua #aquafam #houseofaqua #thicctech hands on MacBook Pro m1 pro max is one of the weirdest names of laptops ever tbh what were they thinking or was it alien AI that came up with that product name hmmm I may be on to something here Logic Pro max 맥북
